‘Thugs Of Hindostan’: Navigate Google Maps with Firangi Mallah Aamir!

Yash Raj Films is gearing up for the release of their magnum opus ‘Thugs Of Hindostan‘ that will be hitting the screens around Diwali this year. The makers of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer action-adventure flick is leaving no stone unturned to make the promotions of the film as interesting and unique as possible.

They have collaborated with Google Maps to let Aamir Khan‘s character Firangi Mallah take you to your destinations. Yes, commuters will have the option to drive along with Firangi on their Android or IOS smartphones.

The moment you enable the app, you’ll see the navigation arrow replaced with Aamir’s character Firangi Mallah from ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ riding his pet donkey as he does in the movie. Google has also enabled the catchy dialogue from the movie as the voice commands, such as this popular one, “1,2,3…quick march”!

Manan Mehta, Vice President – Marketing and Merchandising, Yash Raj Films told Times Now, ” ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is not only the biggest Bollywood movie produced till date but also for the first time ever brings together two legends of Indian Cinema, Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Mr Aamir Khan, so we had to think of creating a first time, unparalleled and unrepeatable marketing idea to promote this film. And in Google Maps we found a perfect partner to do so.”

The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial also features Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. The film will be releasing on November 8, 2018.
