Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan wishes Rakesh Roshan a speedy recovery, view post

Actor-turned-director Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage of throat cancer. Hrithik Roshan, his son took to his social media handles to share the news. Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan commented on his post wishing Senior Roshan a speedy recovery.

It took everyone by surprise when Hrithik announced this news today. The actor shared a picture of him with his dad from gym and called his dad ‘the strongest man’. He also gave a description of the type of cancer Rakesh Roshan is diagnosed with. Here are the excerpts from the post. “Got diagnosed with early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago,” Hrithik wrote.

A few years ago Hrithik’s sister, Sunaina Roshan was diagnosed with cervical cancer but she fought the hard battle with strong will power and today she is an example for the other cancer patients.

For the uninitiated, squamous cell carcinoma is a type of cancer that has an uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the lining of the throat. As said by Hrithik in his post, his father is in the early stage of the throat cancer and we are hopeful that the surgery will be successful and Roshan senior will bounce back soon.
