War 2 Update: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR dedicate 100 days to YRF’s Spy Universe, promise high-octane action

Every since he stepped into Bollywood with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai in 2000, Hrithik Roshan has had won millions of hearts with his acting chops and dance moves. As he nears the 25-year milestone in Bollywood, Hrithik will reprise his role as RAW agent Major Kabir Dhaliwal in the action-packed War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and co-starring Jr NTR, the high-octane action drama is the sixth movies in YRF’s Spy Universe.

While there is more than a year left to its release – the film will release on Independence Day 2025, we have now got an update regarding its filming schedule. Read on to know the details.

A new Pinkvilla report has quoted a source close to the making of War 2 revealing that both the lead stars have allotted around three months each for filming. The insider said, “Leaving no stone unturned, Hrithik Roshan has allotted over 100 days for the shoot of the War 2. In the over 100 days of shoot, Hrithik will be shooting his solo sequences as well as combination sequences with Jr. NTR.”

They continued, “Much like Hrithik, Jr. NTR is also devoting around 100 days for the film. The film will be packed with high-octane action and drama. Needless to say, there will be dance and romance too.”

War 2 is the sequel film to YRF’s 2019 action-thriller War. The Siddharth Anand directorial starred Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. Its worldwide collection made it the highest grossing of 2019.
