Hrithik Roshan and Karthi heap praise on each other as Vikram Vedha, Ponniyin Selvan 1 clashes in theatres

The movies Vikram Vedha and Ponniyin Selvan 1 clashed at the box office on Friday. The films starring Hrithik Roshan and Karthi in key roles, respectively, was released in theatres on September 30. Taking to Twitter, both the actors showered each other with praise, post the movie release. Despite the clash at the box office, Vikram Vedha actor Hrithik Roshan and Ponniyin Selvan 1 actor Karthi heaped praise on each other’s performances.

Taking to his Twitter, Karthi wished Hrithik and Saif Ali Khan, along with the team of Vikram Vedha a ‘huge success’. He further mentioned that he is ‘looking forward’ to watch the movie soon.

Karthi tweeted, “Wishing @iHrithik, #SaifAliKhan. @PushkarGayatri and team a huge success for #VikramVedha. Looking forward to watch the film soon.”

He then went on to get a reply from Vikram Vedha directors Pushkar and Gayatri. They thanked Karthi and wished him luck for Ponniyin Selvan 1 as well. The director duo wrote, “Thanks a ton! @Karthi_Offl. Eagerly waiting to watch #PonniyinSelvan1 Our heartiest wishes for Mani Sir and the entire team for the epic!”

Hrithik also responded to Karthi’s message and thanked him for his kind words. Roshan took to Twitter and tweeted, “Thank you so much for your wishes Karthi! #PS1 looks amazing & I’m hearing only good things about the film. Will be watching it soon. My love & best wishes to Mani Ratnam Sir & the entire team. More power to you all.”

Meanwhile, Vikram Vedha features Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in key roles. The Pushkar and Gayathri directorial also features Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, and Sharib Hashmi. Talking about Mani Ratnam directorial based on the Chola dynasty, it stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, amongst others.
