Hrithik Roshan approached for the remake of ‘Shahenshah’?

Rumours are rife that Hrithik Roshan has been approached for the remake of ‘Shahenshah’. He has been roped in to play the male lead in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer. The makers have been planning over a sequel to the classic movie and they have considered Hrithik for the role of Big B. Hrithik also liked the script and is keen to start work, if sources are to be believed.

But, the producer of the original film Naresh Malhotra has neither confirmed nor denied these rumours. He revealed to a popular website that though he has no idea about the remake, the rights to the original are with him, and so far there have been no discussions on the remake.

Hrithik Roshan is all geared up for the period drama ‘Mohenjo Daro’ where he plays the main lead opposite actress Pooja Hegde. The movie will be releasing on Aug 12, 2016.
