Hrithik Roshan promises his best as he delivers breakout performance of 2022 as a villain in Vikram Vedha

There is basically nothing that Hrithik Roshan can’t or won’t try to do and is the only Indian actor referred to as the “complete package”! He has played a variety of roles over the years, including an emperor, a thief, a professor, a man with developmental disabilities, a bad guy, a good guy – There is nothing that the actor can’t take on. With his persistent hardwork and intense prep, Hrithik Roshan always elevates every role he takes on.

He was the one who, with Krrish, created India’s most loved superhero and then completely blew us away as an emperor to the point that we can’t fathom anyone else playing the part and looking just as impactful in it. The man is as versatile as they come, whether playing a Indian intelligence agent in WAR, a mathematical genius in Super 30, a classy thief in Dhoom 2, or just a guy living life in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. But what truly stood out for me was his portrayal of “Vedha” in “Vikram Vedha,” which was likely one of the best this year.

Vedha was a villain you couldn’t help but root for and another example of Hrithik Roshan’s talent as one of India’s best actors as well as his unrivalled screen presence. He made a splash in 2022 with a standout performance that fans and critics alike praised him for. He fearlessly took on the unusual character with shades of grey and carried it off beautifully!

The fact that Hrithik Roshan is the only actor to have portrayed and reimagined legendary roles in such a phenomenal way is remarkable. If there were any doubts about Hrithik Roshan portraying ‘Vedha’, a popular role originally played by Vijay Sethupathi, the actor dispelled them with an unforgettable performance, so different from the original yet so impactful.

Many people might be hesitant to reinvent such a popular part, but Hrithik gave Vedha’s portrayal a ruthless, terrifying yet charming, and delectably mischievous tone. This wasn’t the first time that Hrithik’s portrayal of a legendary role earned positive reviews. He had previously taken on the role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, a beloved character played by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. In addition to breaking the record for the biggest opening day for a movie in India, many people thought Hrithik’s Agneepath was just as good, if not better than the original.

After Vikram Vedha, the actor will next be seen in ‘Fighter’, India’s first aerial action movie and one of the most eagerly awaited projects that marks his first collaboration with Deepika Padukone.
