Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar join hands for Big Budget Action Flick?

Karan Johar is quite busy with his multiple projects. The actor, director and producer is currently busy with his directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Post wrapping the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer, he is planning to direct a BIG BUDGET action film. The development also suggests Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan are coming together for the movie.

As reported by sources to Peeping Moon, Karan Johar who is known for helming romantic films or family drama is all set to direct his first ambitious actioner. The movie that will be mounted on a huge scale is an action cum love story.

The sources further added that the work on the film has already begun. Apparently, the film will feature Hrithik Roshan who is known for his action films like Krrish, Krrish 3, Bang Bang, Dhoom 2, and War. Therefore he will be a perfect choice for Karan’s action entertainer.

Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan had collaborated for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. So, if rumours do come true then the two will be coming together after a gap of 21 years.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan is busy with Fighter co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The Sidharth Anand directorial is touted to be one of the first aerial action movies of Bollywood. Hrithik also has the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha in his kitty. The movie also features Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role. The movie is slated for January 26, 2023 release.

The original movie starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan in the lead roles. The Hindi remake will be directed by Gayatri and Pushkar.
