Hrithik Roshan will be seen as Vedha in the upcoming film Vikram Vedha. Vikram Vedha, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte, is a remake of the Tamil film of the same name, which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. Vijay Sethupathi played the role of Vedha in the Tamil hit. Ever since the teaser and posters of the Hindi remake were released, comparisons began between Hrithik Roshan and Vijay Sethupathi. Now, Hrithik reacted to the comparisons and said that he can’t reach Vijay’s amazing level as Vedha.
At an event, Hrithik Roshan said, “I know how amazingly Vijay Sethupathi did the same part. I can’t in my dreams think that I would achieve that level. Yet, I have done my best and I am happy with what I have done.”

The actor went on to add, “When you approach a character, you can’t just repeat what has been done. If you think ‘he did that so I will also do it’, that’s not a very intelligent way to go about it. The simplest way to go about it is to know that every individual is different. So, if I approach this the way I look at it, it will automatically be different, new, and honest.”
Hrithik and Saif starrer Vikram Vedha is slated to release on 30th September.
Apart from Vikram Vedha, he also has Fighter. The actor will be sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone in the same. There are also rumours of him playing Dev in Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev. In a recent interview with PTI, Hrithik was asked about his rumoured casting as Dev in the sequel and he said, “What is happening? Nothing is happening. Next Fighter will start and then there is potential for others to be made, including the ones you spoke of. Fingers crossed.”
