Superstar Hrithik Roshan began the New Year with a bang as he shared a picture flaunting his sculpted abs on Instagram. The Greek God of Bollywood raised the day’s temperature and left his female fans swooning at the viral pic. But the road to perfection has been riddled with many challenges as the Super 30 actor revealed in an interview.
Hrithik Roshan in interaction with fitness trainer Kris Gethin in a podcast revealed all about his body transformation, Mental health and more. He also made a shocking revelation about how he was on the verge of depression while prepping for the action thriller War co-starring, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. The movie went on to be a blockbuster hit.
Hrithik Roshan said, “I feel as light and as fast as our last transformation thought I was dying when I was doing War. I wasn’t prepared for the film and was up against a really big challenge. As I was trying to achieve perfection for which I wasn’t ready. After the film, I went into adrenaline fatigue. For 3-4 months, couldn’t train and wasn’t feeling good. Was almost on the verge of depression and completely lost and that’s when I knew I needed to make a change in my life.”

Hrithik Roshan also reflected on his recent 12-week transformation journey and said, “It doesn’t feel like 12 weeks. It’s been so engaging and entertaining. I have enjoyed this process so much and have been visualising this day for the past 3-4 years. I knew there will be a point in my life when I will need this transformation once again because I was all over the place and was resting on past glory.”
On the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Vikram Vedha, alongside Saif Ali Khan. He will next be seen in Fighter with Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
