Hrithik Roshan all set to don director’s hat?

Actor Hrithik Roshan has very well impressed one and all with the trailer and stills of his next, ‘Kaabil‘ and while we love him on camera, he is all set to impress us with his behind the camera skills soon.

Keeping in mind the level of interest he showed behind the camera while shooting for ‘Kaabil’, one only wondered whether Hrithik wanted to shift his interest in direction for a bit.

Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan, however, confirms the same, saying, “Hrithik will surely direct a film, although I can’t say when. He has assisted me on several of my films before he was launched as a hero in ‘Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai’. So you could say he has been training in direction for a very long time.”

He also suggests how Hrithik was involved with director Sanjay Gupta in collaborating over a few things, but insists, ‘Kaabil’ was only Sanjay’s baby. “I went to the sets only on the first day to give the first ‘clap’. After that, it was Sanjay Gupta’s baby. But yes, our involvement was there throughout, as Sanjay, Hrithik and I were on the same page. There were no ego issues among us,” Rakesh concludes.
