It has been two months since the Hrithik Roshan filed a case against an unknown imposter, was transferred to the Criminal Intelligence Unit (CIU). Now, the War actor will be summoned to record his statement. Reportedly the Mumbai Crime Branch will record his statement in connection to his case against Kangana Ranaut. Hrithik had alleged her for cheating by personation and identity theft.
Hrithik had sent a notice to Kangana for referring to him as silly ex. Later there was the exchange of emails between Hrithik and Kangana that the Bang Bang actor claimed were not sent by him. But instead, it was someone impersonating him and sent Ranaut emails through a fake ID.
A report by ANI read, “Actor Hrithik Roshan has been summoned to appear before Crime Intelligence Unit of Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Feb 27 to record his statement in a case lodged against actress Kangana Ranaut involving exchange of emails between the two: Crime Branch.” Earlier, Hrithik’s case was being investigated by the Cell of Mumbai Police but later it was transferred to the CIU on Roshan’s lawyer’s request.

After Kangana referred to Hrithik as his ‘silly ex, Hrithik had tweeted, “There are more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope than any of the (I am sure wonderful) women the media has been naming. Thanks but no thanks.”
