Superstar Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Vikram Vedha co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The movie was a remake of a blockbuster hit Tamil film featuring Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan. The movie received much appreciation from fans and critics alike. The actor is currently busy with his next titled Fighter. The Siddharth Anand directorial features Deepika Padukone as the female lead.
The movie has Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan as Indian Air Force pilots with Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role. The action entertainer is touted as India’s first Aerial Action movie. The makers are now planning to shoot the second schedule of the movie from February 2023 at IAF Academy near Hyderabad. The director is seeking permission to shoot aerial actioner portions there.
As reported by sources to Midday, “During this stint, Hrithik’s character will be seen at the early stage of his journey as an Air Force cadet. It will trace how the protagonist went from being an ordinary boy, to one of the best fighter pilots. Anil will not be a part of this schedule.”
Sources added that if the Academy refuses to give permission the makers plan to build a set, designed along the lines of the Dundigal academy in Mumbai. Deepika Padukone may join the unit at a later stage to film some flashback scenes.
Last month, Hrithik kicked off the shoot of a Fighter at the Tezpur Air Force Station in Assam. He was joined by Anil Kapoor there. The movie also features Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. The film was earlier scheduled to release on September 28, 2023, but now it’ll hit theatres on January 25, 2024.
