Bollywood Celebrities are ardent followers of Football. They have time and again depicted their love for the Global sport by holding friendly matches with each other. With the launch of Indian Super League (Football) the dream to own a football team has materialised, with many of our actors investing in their favourite team.
Bollywood actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Ranbir Kapoor went ahead and invested in co-owned football teams. Abhishek Bachchan has become the proud co-owner of Chennaiyin FC, Ranbir Kapoor has co-invested in Mumbai City FC, Hrithik Roshan in FC Pune City and John Abraham in NorthEast United FC.
The first match of the season was won by Hrithik Roshan’s FCPC by defeating Ranbir Kapoor’s Mumbai City FC by 3-1. Hrithik tweeted his thanks to his fans for their support,

It is quite good to see our celebrities lending their support to other sports rather than cricket thus giving a new lease of life to the games.
