After ‘Padmaavat‘, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to direct his next film. According to reports, the film is going to be a remake of the Malayalam film, Pulimurugan and SLB wanted to cast Hrithik Roshan in the film but he has refused to be a part of it. Now, it looks like there’s no truth to this story at all.
Hrithik took to Twitter to deny the reports completely. He said, “False journalism. Or an honest mistake. Who will ever know. stay cool tho.”

A report in Bollywood Hungama had quoted a source as, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Hrithik Roshan to play the role and even approached him for the film. However, the actor rejected the same and hasn’t even given any reason for it. So now, Bhansali is on a lookout for another actor who can play the role!”

The original film, which was an action adventure, featured Mohanlal in the lead. He played the role of a hunter who tries to save his village from the wrath of leopards. The film also highlighted problems like smuggling and drug addiction.
For those who don’t know, Hrithik and SLB have worked together in ‘Guzaarish’ which also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead. Thought the film didn’t work at the box office, the performance of the actors was well appreciated.
Hrithik is currently busy with Anand Kumar’s biopic which is titled ‘Super 30‘. The film also stars television actress Mrunal Thakur, in the lead role and will release on 26 January 2019.
