Huh? Why is Ranveer Singh thanking Casper, the ghost for directing ‘Befikre’?

Ranveer Singh isn’t funny. He is hilarious! You already know it from his bizarre dress ups and witty statements. This time, at the royal trailer launch of ‘Befikre’ in Paris, Ranveer was at his wacky best once more!

To those uninitiated, Director-producer Aditya Chopra (who is helming ‘Befikre’) has a phobia of facing a crowd; be it his fans, or the media. While Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor were having a gala time at the trailer launch, it was Chopra who was missing from the venue! Surprising, right? However, both Ranveer and Vaani cracked jokes on it and did not let it become an issue.

“Our film was ghost directed. Of course, Adi is a myth. We should credit Casper, the ghost, for directing the film. Adi is an equation in the matrix; he doesn’t really exist.” Ranveer giggled.

LOL! Well, the YRF honcho might have skipped the trailer launch ceremony, but ‘Befikre’ surely looks like one of its kind film; full of energy and positivity. Chopra gets back to direction after a hiatus of nine long years. The last project he helmed before this was ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ (2007). The trailer is passionate and full of ‘love’ (if you know what we mean)!
