Huma Qureshi adds a twist to Raksha Bandhan celebrations, check out what it is

With the festival of Raksha Bandhan around the corner, everyone is gearing up for it. Our B-town celebs too are all excited about celebrating the festival with their siblings. Now siblings are the best thing we all are blessed with. They are our first friend and guide for life. Though they annoy us most of the times, but life without siblings would be so boring.

Now, we all know that on Raksha Bandhan, a sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s wrist and in return the brother vows to protect her forever. Adding a twist to this tradition, Huma Qureshi has a very nice suggestion. In a recent interaction with the media, Huma said, “Rakhi is a beautiful festival. I think brothers should also tie rakhis to their sisters. I always tie rakhis to my brothers but I think this time he will tie me a rakhi.”

Explaining her idea of celebrating Raksha Bandhan in a new way, the actress further added, “Brothers should also tie rakhis to their sisters because it is not one-way protection. I think sisters also protect their brothers in their own way. If not physically, then emotionally, mentally and spiritually.” 

Wow, we totally agree with you on this.

So this Raksha Bandhan, Huma’s kid brother Saqib will be tying her a rakhi too. Isn’t that great guys?
