‘I don’t want Alia to sacrifice her dreams after embracing motherhood,’ says Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to become parents. The couple is expecting their first child. Alia announced her pregnancy in June. Fans of the actors are beyond happy for them. In a recent interaction with the media, Ranbir said his wife, actress Alia is a busy star in this industry and he doesn’t want her to sacrifice her dreams after having a baby.

Ranbir said, “Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry and I don’t want her to sacrifice her dreams because she has a child.”

The actor added, “So we have to somewhere plan out a balanced life where we both can enjoy our personal life, and our professional life, so it is one day at a time, one step at a time, but I have a lot of expectations from it.”

On the work front, Alia and Ranbir have interesting projects in the pipeline. Ranbir is currently busy promoting his film Shamshera which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. Shamshera is slated to release on 22^nd July. Apart from this, Ranbir also has Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The actor will be seen romancing wife Alia in the film. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. Ranbir also has Luv Ranjan’s next.

Alia, on the other hand, recently wrapped up shooting for her Hollywood debut film Heart of Stone. Heart of Stone also stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo and Matthias Schweighofer. Apart from this and Brahmastra, Alia also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Darlings. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
