After courting so many controversies, director Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ is all set for a release this Friday. As many would know, this romantic drama will clash with actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn‘s ‘Shivaay’. Post the Uri attacks, Ajay Devgn had come out in the support of the ban imposed on Pakistani artistes working in India, but recently he spoke about the ban controversy on this Karan Johar’s directorial saying he never wanted that. In fact, Ajay even claimed that he was the first one to back the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
Talking about it to an agency, Ajay said, “For me it’s fair enough, two big releases always happen and both will work hopefully. I’ve always supported the release of ‘ADHM’ and I was the first one to do that in spite of all the controversies.”

“Controversies are always created not always by us… They are just created, misconstrued or done intentionally. They just happen and I don’t want it to happen, I’m sick and tired. I don’t even want to speak about it because it’s just useless to talk about it. You can’t blame us every time for the controversies. Sometimes they have been created by the people. I have never attacked on someone. I’ve been misinterpreted at times,” added the actor strongly believing that he has been misunderstood and purposely targeted.
Further, talking about working with Pakistani artistes, Ajay maintained that he is not saying he will not work with them, but keeping in mind the present situation between the two countries he wants to stand by his nation.
Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ are slated to release this Friday on October 28.
