I will make sure the world hears of it, says Kajol on her thoughts over her fight with Karan Johar

One ugly incident and it broke an age old friendship between the two. Kajol and Karan Johar’s friendship was the strongest of all in Bollywood, but one nasty fallout led to an end of this relationship. We all remember how Karan was accused of bribing KRK to praise his film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and talk rubbish about Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Shivaay’, as both the movies were clashing. Because of this clash, not only did the box office numbers get affected, but also Kajol and Karan’s friendship.

Since then, Kajol and KJo have kept distance from each other. At times, Karan has opened up on it, but Kajol mostly maintains a stoic silence on the matter. So, in her latest interview, Kajol was asked why this silence on the fiasco, to which she said that it’s the best thing to do.

She quoted, “I think that the best thing for me to do right now, as far as this entire topic is concerned, is to stay silent. And that’s exactly what I’m going to do. When and if I choose to give my opinion on this particular topic, I will make sure the world hears of it.”

She further quoted, “I think there’s a lot of fake honesty going around as well. I really do. There are a lot of people going around and saying, ‘You know I’m being honest’ and actually, it’s just for selling books, or movies and ratings. I don’t know, there are a lot of reasons for faking in front of the camera. Or in front of the public, for that matter.”
