Ibrahim Ali Khan to choose cricket over films? Aunt Saba Pataudi asks fans!

Saif Ali Khan and ex-wife Amrita Singh’s handsome son Ibrahim Ali Khan has often been spotted on the playgrounds – sometimes playing football, sometimes playing cricket. Saba Pataudi, Ibrahim’s aunt is a cheerleader in the Pataudi family who has been a great admirer of the next generation in the family. Whether it is Sara Ali Khan, the little Inaaya (Kunal & Soha’s daughter), or Taimur or Ibrahim, Saba has been their fan. She always showcases her love and admiration towards them on her social media page.

She recently posted a throwback picture of Ibrahim in which we can see Ibrahim in a cricketer’s attire and playing a short confidently. She has mentioned, “Do you he’ll follow in his grandfather’s (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) footsteps, and play cricket for #teamindia. YES/NO..? Tell me in the comments below.”

Late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is also known as Tiger Pataudi. He was an Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team. Pataudi was also called the best fielder in the world. Grandmother Sharmila Tagore had once said on Kareena Kapoor’s What Women Want that Ibrahim is the only one among her grandkids who looks like a Pataudi.

This is not the first time Saba has posted something on Ibrahim. Earlier she has penned a small emotional note of appreciation for her nephew. Sharing one stunning picture of Ibrahim in a black Sherwani she wrote, “STANDING TALL. I’ve seen the baby, the young boy, the youthful teen, and now mashallah a grown man. I’m an aunt bursting with pride. You’re a success story who’s made it on his own. Wishing you life’s very best. Love you.” The photo was from a photoshoot in ensembles by ace designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. After Sara Ali Khan’s Bollywood debut with Kedarnath a couple of years back, all eyes are on Ibrahim as to when he will debut in Hindi films.
