If Vijay Deverakonda is cheese, I’m the cracker: Sara Ali Khan’s hilarious response

Vijay Deverakonda made headlines after Sara Ali Khan referred to the actor as ‘cheese’ during an episode of Koffee With Karan season 7. It all began when Sara made an appearance on the Karan Johar hosted show with Janhvi Kapoor. She had even expressed her desire to date the Liger star. In a candid conversation recently, the Gaslight actress spoke about Vijay again.

When asked if Vijay Deverakonda is ‘cheese’ then what food item would she prefer to be, Sara Ali Khan gave an epic response. In a live with Roposo, Sara called herself ‘cracker’ if Vijay would be ‘cheese’.

After she was asked what would she be if Vijay would be cheese, the Gaslight actress replied and said, “I don’t know. I’d say cracker.”

Moving further, when Sara was asked about her father, actor Saif Ali Khan’s reaction to her Koffee With Karan 7 episode and her love for Deverakonda, the actress answered. She said, “I think, he understands that anything I say on Koffee With Karan shouldn’t be taken seriously. He probably knows that. He probably knows that, better than most people. I think, he’ll just laugh.”

For the unversed, during the Koffee With Karan 7 episode, Karan Johar asked Sara to name a boy she wants to date. Khan chose to evade the question at first with a little nudge, but finally replied and said, “Vijay Deverakonda.” Janhvi Kapoor, who has expressed a liking towards the Liger star previously, teased Sara and said, “have the cheese.” During the episode, after watching Sara and Janhvi’s discussion, Johar had even said, “Why are you passing Vijay like he is some slice of cheese?” Later, even during Vijay’s appearance on Koffee With Karan 7 with Ananya Panday, his Liger co-star reacted to the statement made by Karan. She said, “Can I be on that platter?”
