The popular IIFA Awards 2018, which aired on television yesterday, saw the industry giving a tribute to the late legendary actress Sridevi, whose tragic demise left the whole country shocked.
A video was played at the event, which was dedicated to the actress, highlighting her memorable stint in Bollywood. However, the video has now landed IIFA in trouble, as a lady, Saba Arif, has alleged that the video was plagiarised from a tribute video which she had made and uploaded on YouTube, that too in March 2018.
As per Saba, IIFA apparently used the video without taking any permission and only added a voice-over and a few more stills to it, to be presented as a revised version. The lady was also not given any credit for the same.
