As soon as the remixed version of Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Ek Do Teen’ featuring Jacqueline Fernandez made it to the internet, social media went berserk. The new number quite obviously could not match up to the original number and people felt that the makers just killed an iconic track by recreating it. Reports also had it that choreographer Saroj Khan who had crafted steps for Madhuri was also not quite happy with it. But now, a quote from the ace choreographer states the contrary.
She has been quoted saying, “I’m so happy and proud of Ahmed and Ganesh that they are giving a tribute to us. They have all my blessings.” Though N Chandra, the director of ‘Tezaab’ in which the original track was featured, had quoted that he along with Saroj Khan is planning to take a legal action against the makers of remixed version, we now wonder what is the status.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan, Jacqueline’s ‘Race 3’ co-star, had also tweeted praising the song.
Loved d song, Jackie has done full justice 2 d legendary moves of Saroj khan difficult to match Madhuri. Nice 2 see Varun n Jackie to our songs makes us proud n keeps d songs alive n fans listening, dancing n having a blast. Makes me proud . Enjoy Karo !https://t.co/qQ6nfnSAD1
