Imran Khan and GF Lekha Washington to rent Karan Johar’s swanky three-storey apartment for a whopping Rs 9 lakhs per month: Reports

Bollywood actor and Aamir Khan’s nephew, Imran Khan rose to fame with his debut film, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He took a huge break from the movies after the debacle of Katti Batti in 2016. However, he once grabbed headlines when he sparked rumours about his comeback. Imran Khan has also been in the limelight for his relationship with his girlfriend Lekha Washington. As per reports, they have rented Karan Johar’s apartment at an exorbitant amount and will move in there.

According to reports in Money Control.com, the couple have rented filmmaker Karan Johar’s three-storeyed apartment for Rs 9 lakhs per month. The actor was previously residing in his bungalow at Pali Hill, Bandra. The report further suggests that Bandra’s apartment is a sea-facing home located next to a building where his uncle and superstar Aamir Khan had previously rented an apartment.

It has also been claimed that in the documents sourced by the real estate database platform Zapkey, the rental deal was registered on March 20, 2024, and tenured for three years. The couple will now stay at the three-story apartment at Clefepete on Tony Carter Road.

For those unversed, Imran and Lekha have been together since 2020 and are tight-lipped about their relationship. Before Lekha, the actor was married to Avantika Mallik. However, they parted ways in 2019.

Workwise, Imran is expected to make a comeback with an OTT series helmed by Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na director Abbas Tyrewala.
