Say What! Imran Khan’s estranged wife Avantika Malik did not want him to quit acting?

Imran Khan has been away from the media eye for ages and while his fans miss him and want him to get back to the silver screen, the actor has no plans of getting back to movies anytime soon. Recently, Akshay Oberoi, who is also an actor, made a shocking revelation about his close friend Imran that he has quit acting. While Imran’s fans have been in a frenzy ever since his father-in-law Ranjev Malik also did not disagree with the statement.

In an interview with ETimes, Avantika Malik’s father said, “Honestly, it’s Imran’s personal decision and it’s not my domain either. But yes, Imran was always inclined towards direction right from the days he went to a film school. And well, he’s working on it and will make it happen.”

When Malik was asked if his daughter Avantika wanted her husband to continue acting, he replied, “Yes, I guess, she did.” When asked him about the reason why, Ranjev said, “Imran was doing well.”

Ranjev also said that Imran did not discuss his career moves with Avantika and he said, “No, he did not. But honestly, I wouldn’t like to interfere in his career moves. Even I wouldn’t like it if someone interfered in my business.”

Meanwhile, Imran Khan was last seen in the movie ‘Katti Batti‘ in 2015 alongside ‘Queen‘ actress Kangana Ranaut.
