Sridevi has left a void in Indian cinema that’ll be extremely hard to fill, for years to come. She was an exemplary performer, a graceful actress and above all, a gem of a human being. And maybe that’s the reason her death has united Indian and Pakistani stars in grief, something which did not happen while she was alive. We still remember how she broke down on screen addressing her onscreen husband and daughter from the movie ‘MOM’, who are Pakistani actors and were unable to be by her side while promoting the movie.
And now, post her death, as the whole Bollywood and cinema industry is grieving over her, Pakistani stars have joined in.
Mahira Khan posted on her social media, “She is and will always be..”

Ali Zafar, who has worked in Bollywood movies like ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’ too took to social media to say, “Rest in peace #Sridevi ji. You have left us with great memories of joy and tears.”

Legendary Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to took to Twitter to express his grief.
My condolences to @BoneyKapoor Ji and the Kapoor family. Deeply saddened to loose an icon like #Sridevi Ji.

Apart from that, Sridevi’s ‘MOM’ daughter Sajal Ali too took to social media and said how she felt like she had lost her mother. Her onscreen husband Adnan Siddiqui, who was also a guest at Mohit Marwah’s wedding, said how inconsolable Boney Kapoor was, on the wife’s demise. Strange, how we fight when we are alive, over futile things, and it takes a tragedy to unite us all.
