Indian Matchmaking 2 Sima Taparia clarifies Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas not a ‘good match’ comment: I said casually

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are among the most loved and adored couples in the Hindi film industry. Despite their age gap, the couple enjoys a massive fan base who constantly showers them with love. However, it was Indian Matchmaking 2 fame Sima Taparia who said that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are not ‘good match’. It was during one of the episodes of Indian Matchmaking 2 that Taparia shared her thoughts on the celebrity couple’s relationship.

Sima Taparia has now clarified her stance. She clarified and said that her comment on Priyanka and Nick not being a good match was something she said “casually“. When asked if she was surprised how much her thoughts on Nick and Priyanka became a talking about, Taparia said it was a “casual discussion” that she was having with one of her clients. She even wished the celebrity couple good luck.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, when asked about her comment on Nick and Priyanka, Sima Taparia said, “That was just a casual discussion. I was discussing something with Nadia and I said that. Everyone’s entitled to do what they want, and if they’re happy then I’m happy for them and wish them the best.” “It was just something I said casually, but everyone’s entitled to what they want to do and I wish good luck to them,” She further added.

For the unversed, during an episode of Indian Matchmaking 2, Sima Taparia was having a conversation with one of her client. During the discussion with the client on marriage, Sima spoke about Priyanka and Nick as an example of age gap not playing much of a role in a marriage. She had told her client, “But I don’t feel it’s a good match. Sorry to tell that. They have married, but it’s not a good match. He looks so small and petite in front of her, and she looks elder.”

Talking about Priyanka and Nick, the couple got married in December 2018. They had two beautiful traditional ceremonies in Rajasthan, in the presence of close friends and family. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, earlier this year.
