Actress-politician Jaya Bachchan has expressed her opinions supporting women rights in a Parliament session and it’s worth listening to. On Wednesday, Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan got furious over comments made by a member of the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha who announced a prize money of Rs 11 lakh for any person who beheads the CM of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee. She said, “Must take steps for protection of women aggressively. You are protecting cows but atrocities being committed on women. How dare somebody talk like this and specially against a woman? When today women are feeling really insecure. Is this what you should be promoting? Aap log to saare akhbaron ko control karte hai, to iss tarah ke news kaise chap jata hai.”

NDTV reported that the leader had said, “When I saw the video, I only had one thought… that if anyone gets me Mamata Banerjee’s head I will give them 11 lakh.”
