INSIDE PICS: Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna look the happiest as they celebrate daughter Nitara’s birthday

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna celebrated their daughter Nitara’s 10th birthday yesterday, and the proud parents seem to have had a blast on this special day. It was a day full of happiness, celebration, balloons and lots of big smiles, and the whole family had an amazing time bringing in the big day amidst friends and family, a glimpse of which was shared by Twinkle on her Instagram feed.

As Nitara turned 10 yesterday, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle organised a birthday bash for their daughter at home, and Twinkle’s post gives a glimpse into it, showing that there were a lot of balloons involved in the decorations. One of the pictures sees Akshay and Twinkle laughing their hearts out together, and the blur on the picture captures that emotion in a much more nuanced and raw state. Another video sees Akshay helping some more kids as they all lift Nitara to maybe give her some birthday bumps. Along with these glimpses, Twinkle wrote, “And just like that she turns 10. Our home is a mess but our hearts are full. Happy birthday my bright, beautiful baby! (sic)”.

Yesterday, Akshay had penned a heartfelt note for Nitara on her birthday, sharing what a joy has it been for him to have her in his life. She wrote, “From holding my hand to now holding her own shopping bag, my baby girl is growing up way too fast. All of 10 years old today…my wish for you this birthday and always is…the best the world has to offer. Daddy loves you (sic)”.

On the work front, Akshay released the first look of his upcoming release Ram Setu today, and it sees him on a mission to save the mythological bridge. The film will have a Diwali release this year on October 25.
