After Sushant Singh Rajput, Instagram memorializes late actor Irrfan Khan’s account

The nation has still not recovered from the loss of such great personalities in Bollywood. In the past two months, the film industry saw Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput leave for the heavenly abode. After their unfortunate demise, Instagram has decided to honour the stars by memorializing their accounts. Yes, after Sushant, now Irrfan’s Instagram account has been memorialized too.

Irrfan was one of the most loved and celebrated actors in Bollywood. He had a huge fan following as people loved his acting skills and personality. After Irrfan’s demise, Instagram has added the tag of ‘Remembering’ to his account. Fans can still see Irrfan’s posts but his Instagram account has been officially converted into a memorialised account.

On April 28, 2020, Irrfan was admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital due to a colon infection. He next day he left for the heavenly abode. The actor had been suffering ever since he was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour a couple of years back. Earlier, even Sushant Singh Rajput’s Instagram account was memorialised where you can now see the ‘Remembering’ tag on his account. Sushant committed suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence and ever since then the police have been investigating his death.
