Sushant was someone who was an ardent lover of astronomy and celestial bodies. He was a member of the International Lunar Land Registry (ILLR) for three years. He also bought a piece of land on the far side of the moon which is called the ‘Mare Moscoviense’. He bought for himself a Meade 14” LX600 telescope to study the stars.

For the research work of his movie ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’, Sushant also visited the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 2017. He even stayed in NASA to train himself for the role of an astronaut. We wish we could see him in the movie but it reportedly got shelved.
