Intolerance issue – Farhan Akthar comes out in support of Aamir Khan & Shah Rukh Khan

There has been an ongoing controversy regarding the rising intolerance issue in the Nation. Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have been facing the brunt for voicing their opinions on the controversial subject. The superstars have been receiving harsh criticism for it from many a political group. Now versatile actor Farhan Akhtar has stepped forward and shown his support to the Badshah and the Perfectionist over the debatable controversy on intolerance.

Farhan Akhtar said, “You have people voicing a certain opinion, if you think they are wrong you can correct them, but there is a manner in which you do it, with a certain degree of respect. You cannot question the intention or motive of conspiracy behind someone’s thought process all the time.”

Farhan Akhtar, “I feel we live in a democracy with the concept of freedom of speech. I feel people have the right to say what they feel. It is important to be able to say what one wants to. If you do not agree with them you have the right to disagree with them, that right also exists. You have to have debate and have a functioning democracy.”
