Actor Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan had a registered wedding with her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on January 3. However, we just realised that it is not an ordinary wedding. The kind of weddings we see in Bollywood these days. Ira and Nupur challenged the typical wedding norms and had a unique simple wedding. It was no ordinary shaadi and it is something that will be remembered forever. The best part about the wedding was that everything was low-key. There was no show-sha, no wedding rules, no ‘no phone policy’, everything was out there.

Speaking about the wedding, Nupur and Ira signed their nikanamah and interestingly so, the groom was in a black tank top and white shorts. Yes! When everyone’s all decked up in traditional attire, Nupur chose to be simple at his wedding. Adding more to it, on several occasions, Ira and Nupur have challenged the mainstream wedding and that’s what we are going to talk about.

1) Ira Khan in casuals: Aamir Khan’s daughter was spotted in a mini skirt and chequered shirt on her Haldi ceremony day. She was chill and rocked the casual with glory. Well, now that’s very different for the brides who usually go all nuts with their outfits during pre-wedding festivities. However, Ira didn’t have that fuss to think about.

2) Nupur Shikhare jogging: Who goes out for a jog on their wedding day? No one right? But that was not the case with Nupur who chose fitness over his wedding. Considering that he is a fitness trainer, Nupur was seen heading out for a jog with his team wearing the same black tank top and shorts that he wore for the wedding.

3) No bride shenanigans: Usually, brides go a little overboard when it comes to weddings. Ira Khan’s wedding was different. Ahead of her wedding, Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira was seen outside a salon wearing ‘bride to be’ headgear. It shows how happy she was with that simple thing as well. She is surely breaking the norms and we are so loving it.
