Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare Wedding Reception: Jaya Bachchan hot-cold banter with paps draws reaction from Shweta Bachchan and Sonali Bendre

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare tied the knot on January 10 in Udaipur. The couple, who had a Christian wedding, are hosting a grand reception in Mumbai today. Many big names including Anil Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, and Jaya Bachchan among others graced the event in style. Talking about Jaya Bachchan, in particular, she donned a blue traditional outfit.

The veteran actor was joined by daughter Shweta Bachchan and Sonali Bendre. In the video, Jaya Bachchan can be seen telling paps to not tell her how to pose. She says, “Kya idhar angle humko seekha rahe hai,” before leaving with a smile on her face. At one point, Jaya Bachchan walks out while posing with daughter Shweta and Sonali Bendre. Shweta says, “Mama she (Sonali Bendre) has just come.”

Jaya Bachchan often grabs attention for his banter with paparazzi. There have been times she has shouted at paps. During Neetu Kapoor’s recent appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan season 8, Neetu stated that Jaya’s actions might be intentional. Neetu said, “I feel Jaya ji does it on purpose. She did it once and now she does it on purpose. She is not like that. She is so lovely.” Karan added, “I think they (paps) also enjoy it.” Neetu responded, “They enjoy it, she enjoys it. I think they are all in cahoots.”
