Irrfan Khan to celebrate Diwali at his Nashik farmhouse?

Bollywood’s powerhouse actor Irrfan Khan left his fans in a state of shock when he revealed that he is suffering from neuroendocrine tumour. The ‘Hindi Medium’ star is currently in the UK seeking treatment for the same since March this year. His fans have been eagerly awaiting his return and it looks like their wish is all set to be granted this Diwali. As per a report in Mid-day, Irrfan will be celebrating Diwali in India with his family at his Nashik farmhouse.

As reported by a source to Midday, “Irrfan and his family are planning to celebrate Diwali at their Nashik farmhouse. It will be a 10-day trip after which he will return to the UK for his ongoing treatment.”

It was reported that Irrfan will soon start work on ‘Hindi Medium 2’. Post that, he will be working with Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Uddhan Singh’ biopic. But the source revealed that it will be some time before the actor faces the camera.

The source further added, “He is yet to be given a clean chit by his doctors on whether he can start full-fledged work. The doctors are hopeful that he can return to the set by March. But he will have to follow the guidelines that his oncologists give him. The biopic will have to be divided into shorter schedules.”

The tabloid did try to contact Irrfan’s wife Sutapa, but to this date, they have got no response from her.
