Mystery Solved: Here’s why Irrfan Khan extended his stay in London post wrap up of ‘Angrezi Medium’

Irfan Khan left his fans heartbroken when he revealed that he will be going to London to get his treatment for cancer. There were speculations about whether he would return at all. But now, he will be seen on the silver screen once again in Homi Adajania’s ‘Angrezi Medium’.

Director Homi Adajania recently posted on his Instagram announcing the wrap up of ‘Angrezi Medium’ along with an emotional note.

I wanted to do this film knowing it would be against the odds. I wanted to do it for all the wrong reasons to make a film but they just seemed so right and still do. According to a report by Bombay Times, it turns out that even after wrap up, Irrfan didn’t return to the country. He has extended his stay in London. A source close to the actor told BT that he has been exploring the nooks and alleys of the city like a typical traveller. “Irrfan’s sons, Babil and Ayan, insisted on spending time in London. Their school vacations are underway and so, Irrfan decided to expose his boys to London’s theatre culture. Over the last few weeks, he has taken them out for some of the best plays being staged in the city. Irrfan believes that it will help them broaden their understanding of art. The actor and his family are expected back in Mumbai in the second half of August,” the source said.

Well, Irrfan is fulfilling his daddy duties and spending some quality time with his fam in London.
