Irrfan Khan, with a smile on his face, shows how to fight illness like a boss

Ever since the news of Irrfan Khan being diagnosed with cancer broke, the entire nation has been praying for the speedy recovery of this power-house performer. The actor, who is undergoing a treatment in London for neuroendochrine tumour, has been keeping his fans and followers updated with his recovery process.

A few weeks back, the actor took to his Twitter handle and shared a heartfelt letter about how he has taken up this testing phase of his life as a challenge and has surrendered to the fate.

Today, once again giving a glimpse of how he is fighting his illness with a smile on his face, the actor changed the profile picture of his Twitter handle, in which, though he is looking bit weak, he has a huge smile on his face.

Earlier, announcing about his illness the actor posted a message on Twitter which read as, “Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect: Margaret Mitchell. The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research 🙂 To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”

On the professional front, Irrfan Khan’s upcoming slice of life comedy film, ‘Karwaan’ also starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar, is all set to release on August 3, 2018. The star cast of this film has started promoting their film sans Irrfan while his other few projects have been kept on hold owing to his health.
