Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan feels the film industry rarely comes together for issues and this is something not hidden from anyone.
When asked if many people from Bollywood didn’t wish to comment on Salman Khan’s rape remark as they felt there were under pressure to voice against the superstar, he told reporters, “Aap sabko pata hai, industry chupi hui toh nahi hai, industry jaisi hai waisi news toh aate rehti hai. (You all know. There is nothing hidden about the industry).
“Now there is a big issue of piracy par isi pe saath nahi aa rahe. (Piracy is a big issue now but still people are not coming together).”
Recently, films like ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Great Grand Masti’ were leaked online even before they hit the screens.
The ‘Piku’ star said people in Bollywood, who should unite on this issue, are often concerned with only their film.
