'The Song of Scorpions' Irrfan Khan last movie

Immensely talented actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last on April 29. For his fans all over the world, the news of his death is yet to sink in. While we last saw him in the Hindi film ‘Angrezi Medium’, the late actor’s last international film ‘The Song of Scorpions’ will be hitting the silver screens next year.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh shared the news on his Twitter handle. Sharing about ‘The Song of Scorpions’ release date, Taran tweeted, “IRRFAN’S LAST MOVIE… #Irrfan‘s last film – #TheSongOfScorpions – to release in 2021… Directed by Anup Singh… Presented by Panorama Spotlight and 70mm Talkies.”

Directed by Anup Singh, ‘The Songs Of Scorpions’ will release early next year. The late actor Irrfan played the role of a camel trader in this film. Irrfan and Anup had previously collaborated for the critically acclaimed ‘Qissa’.

Apart from Irrfan, ‘The Songs Of Scorpions’ also stars celebrated Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani and veteran actress Waheeda Rehman.

In 2017, ‘The Songs Of Scorpions’ had premiered at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. With the film finally releasing in theatres, Irrfan’s fans can witness his magic on the silver screen all over again.
