Exclusive: Mahie Gill says she doesn’t have the guts to call Irrfan Khan

Actress Mahie Gill who shared the screen space with the power-house performer Irrfan Khan in ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns’ is in a state of shock after hearing about his recent cancer diagnosis.

Irrfan Khan is battling life with a neuroendocrine tumour and he is undergoing the treatment for the same in a London hospital.

Talking about her shock, Mahie shared, “It is really shocking …I don’t have the guts to call him but I ask Tigmanshu and others who are in touch with him.”

“But I am glad because I got to know he is recovering and will soon be doing a film. He is a fighter and he will soon bounce back and you all will be interviewing him soon,” she added.

Mahie is currently busy promoting her film ‘Saheb Biwi Gangster 3’. The third instalment of ‘Saheb Biwi Gansgter’ franchise will see Sanjay Dutt as the gangster this time. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, ‘Saheb Biwi Gangster 3’ is all set to hit the silver screens on July 27.
