Irrfan Khan’s one month death anniversary: Wife Sutapa Sikdar pens a heartfelt note remembering the actor

Irrfan Khan left for his heavenly abode on April 29. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were dealing with this heartbreaking news and it has already been a month. Irrfan was an absolute gem of an actor and no one will ever be able to fill the void created by his death. The entire Bollywood mourned Irrfan’s death along with the whole nation. As yesterday marked his first month death anniversary, his wife Sutapa wrote a heartfelt message for her late husband Irrfan Khan.

Sutapa took to her Facebook as she posted two lovely pictures of herself with Irrfan. She wrote, “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.”It’s just a matter of time…milenge baaten karenge…. Till we meet again.”

In 2018, it was announced that Irrfan was suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour and he left for his treatment in London. His wife was always by his side. After Irrfan announced his illness on Twitter, Sutapa was all praise for the courage of her husband. She wrote on a Facebook post, “My best friend and my partner is a ‘warrior’, he is fighting every obstacle with tremendous grace and beauty.”

On April 28, Irrfan was admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital due to a colon infection. The next day he passed away.
