Irrfan Khan remembers his mom in his last words; says, “Amma has come to take me”

Today the nation as hit with very unfortunate news, the sad demise of actor Irrfan Khan. He was one of the most celebrated actors in Bollywood. But, he lost his battle to cancer. Irrfan’s fans and Bollywood celebs all have been mourning the actor’s death. Here is what Irrfan spoke in his last words.

Irrfan lost his mother Saeeda Begum on 26 April. She was 95 years old. The actor could not attend her funeral in Jaipur and he did through video conferencing. The actor’s mother belonged to a Nawabi family. She was a poet and had two more sons, Salman and Imran.

According to a report by Bombay Times, Irrfan’s last words were, “Amma has come to take me.”

Irrfan Khan passed away today at a Mumbai hospital. He was admitted there yesterday for a colon infection. The 53- year old was battling cancer since 2018. He was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumours. Irrfan was last seen in Homi Adajania’s ‘Angrezi Medium’ that also starred Kareena Kapoor. The actor was also absent from the promotions due to his ailment. This shocking news has shaken up Bollywood for sure. Parineeti Chopra, Taapsee Pannu, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and other Bollywood celebs mourned the actor’s death.
