Irrfan Khan returns to Twitter after a brief period- read tweet

On March 5, Bollywood and the fans of Irrfan Khan were in a rude shock as the actor shared the news of him suffering from a rare disease.

Initially, there were speculations that actor was diagnosed with a severe case of Jaundice. To put an end to this, the ‘Hindi Medium’ took to his Twitter account to release an official statement. Read Irrfan’s tweet here-

Later, ‘The Lunch Box’ actor requested everyone to not speculate anything regarding the same. He promised his fans that he himself will update them after the diagnosis are complete. 15 days later, the actor posted a picture talking about his ill-health. He revealed that he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Neuroendocrine tumor.

The actor’s colleagues and fans from around the world started praying for his speedy recovery. Just after, the actor flew down to the UK for his treatment. There was no update from him. Now after almost two months, the ‘Piku’ actor has returned to Twitter. He shared the poster of his upcoming release ‘Karwaan’ .

Sharing the picture he wrote, ” Beginnings have the innocence that experience can’t buy. My best wishes to @dulQuer , @mipalkar for joining the karwaan. ‘ Two karwaans ‘ …. Mine and the movie !! @MrAkvarious @RSVPMovies @RonnieScrewvala. ”

It is good to hear from the actor after a long time. ‘Karwaan’ is Irrfan’s second release after he was diagnosed with the deadly disease. Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film will be out in cinemas on 10th August.
