Babil Khan gets a degree despite dropping out from college; Sutapa Sikdar reveals Irrfan Khan wanted son to finish the course

Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan made a post on his Instagram recently and revealed that he has received his college degree, despite dropping out of college. The star kid was pursuing his higher education in London. He was pursuing a degree of Bachelor of Arts at the University of Westminster. Babil Khan shared a picture of his degree from his college that he received. He posted the picture on Wednesday, September 15 which shows he has passed with Merit. 

Irrfan Khan’s son shared the picture of his Bachelor of Arts degree and wrote, “Somehow I’ve managed to drop out and get my degree (sic).”

The post received love and appreciation from many of Babil’s fans and followers on Instagram. His mother, Sutapa Sikdar, wife of late actor Irrfan Khan reacted too. She said that Irrfan wanted Babil to complete the course. Sikdar congratulated Babil for receiving the degree. In the comments section of the post, Sutapa Sikdar wrote, “Blessed I feel baba wanted you to finish the course so so much.. love u.. Babila ‘let’s rocks jai Mata di’ (sic).”

Babil Khan lost his father, actor Irrfan Khan in April 2020. Later, in June, Babil Khan announced in an Instagram post that he dropped out of college and will not be going forward with his studies. He mentioned it was to focus on his acting career. 

On the professional front, Babil is making his acting debut with Netflix’s Qala, starring Tripti Dimri. Babil also bagged another film with Shoojit Sircar, before his OTT debut. The aspiring actor has been sharing pictures of him from the shooting sets, as he resumed work.
