Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar remembers him with an emotional post; says, “I have not lost, I have gained in every which way”

Irrfan Khan‘s wife, Sutapa Sikdar paid tribute to her late husband and actor with an emotional note. She also updated a new Facebook profile picture hugging Irrfan and wrote, “I have not lost, I have gained in every which way.”

Irrfan took his last breath at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Wednesday (April 29) morning due to a colon infection. He was 53 and survived by his wife and two sons, Babil and Ayan.

In 2018, he announced of suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour and left for treatment in London. His wife was always by his side. After Irrfan announced his illness on Twitter, Sutapa was all praise for the courage of her husband. She wrote on a Facebook post, “My best friend and my partner is a ‘warrior’, he is fighting every obstacle with tremendous grace and beauty.”

Irrfan’s son Babil thanked their well-wishers for their love. “I’m deeply grateful for all the condolences you beautiful friends are pouring in for me. Although I hope you understand that right now I’m not being able to reply because my vocabulary is dizzy. I will get back to each one of you but just not right now. Thank you so much. I love you,” he wrote in one of his Instagram stories.
