Is Aamir Khan the reason behind Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ to be shot in Haryana?

Salman Khan after the stupendous success of his recent release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is now geared up to the challenges of his upcoming film Sultan. The team of Sultan had been on a location hunt in Punjab to start the first schedule of the film. But the team has now decided to scrap the idea of shooting in Punjab.

Sources said, The shooting schedule of Sultan in Punjab has been cancelled the reason behind this decision is Aamir Khan. The Perfectionist is busy shooting his biopic Dangal at a village quiet close to Ludhiana city of Punjab. Therefore the entire shooting schedule has been shifted to Haryana, Mumbai and some areas near Delhi and Salman Khan would be staying in the capital only.”

Sources added, “The schedule for Punjab has been scrapped because locations were more or less getting similar to what Dangal team is using and since both movies are related wrestling, it was inappropriate to shoot for Sultan in Punjab especially Ludhiana villages. As of now, the Punjab schedule stands cancelled.”

Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ is set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming release ‘Raees’ in 2016.
