Is Aditya Chopra miffed with Katrina Kaif ?

Yash Raj Production is a prestigious banner of the Film Industry, actors vie with each other to be a part of their films. The scion of the production house Aditya Chopra is known to favour very few actors, Katrina Kaif being one of them. The reclusive filmmaker had cast her in not one but three films made under his banner. She has worked in — Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ek Tha Tiger and Dhoom 3.

But things have turned sour between the beauty and the producer since she refused a film offered to her. Aditya Chopra had offered Katrina ‘Gunday’ but the beauty refused it citing date issues. The real reason for her refusal was she was not happy working with newbies Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. Now Adi known to expect loyalty towards him from his actors was quite irked with the ‘Bang Bang’ actress. He felt that she should have accepted the role even though she was not happy with it.

Sources said, “Kat has been trying to build bridges with him ever since, but Adi is not in a forgiving mood for now. Strangely, even though her beau Ranbir Kapoor acted in a YRF film at the start of his career, they haven’t offered him another role in the last five years. Kat is hoping that Adi will have a change of heart soon. She has dropped in a few times at YRF but received an icy treatment from the producer-director. But she is hopeful.”

Katrina Kaif at present is busy with two movies, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor and ‘Fitoor’ opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
