Is Amitabh Bachchan going to play Vidya Balan’s Paa ?

Shoojit Sircar’s next will have role reversal of the stars of R Balki’s Paa. In Paa Amitabh Bachchan played Vidya’s terminally ill son while in Shoojit’s next, Vidya will play Amitabh’s daughter.
Amitabh and Vidya have both answered in affirmative when offered the respective roles and if all goes well, the film will be on the floors this year.  A source said, “It is the story of a father and his daughter and the dilemma that Bachchan’s character faces as his daughter fails to get a suitable groom.

Mr.Bachchan and Shoojit Sircar wanted to work together ever since they did ‘Shoe Bite’, which is yet to be released. And finally they will be associated again.

Though the director did not confirm the buzz he said, “Whenever I write a story idea, I bounce it off Mr.Bachchan. I owe him a film.I am in the process of writing one and will show it to him when it’s ready.”
