Is Ananya Panday getting replaced in Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar’s Pati Patni Aur Woh 2? -Reports

Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh released in 2019. Bhumi played the role of Kartik’s wife whereas Ananya played the role of his love interest. Now, as per latest reports, Pati Patni Aur Woh sequel is on the cards. As reported by India Today, Kartik and Bhumi will be reuniting for the sequel. However, Ananya is not a part of it. The report further adds that the makers are yet to finalise Ananya’s replacement.

Ananya is getting replaced in the sequel

IndiaToday quoted a source saying, “Kartik and Bhumi will reunite for the sequel of Pati Patni Aur Woh! However, Ananya will not be returning, as the role of ‘woh’ in the film will undergo a change this time. The team is presently exploring options to cast another actress.”

In the first part, Ananya shared a great chemistry with Kartik. If the reports turn out to be true, Ananya’s fans will surely miss her.

Ananya is currently busy with her upcoming film, Dream Girl 2. The actress will be seen playing the role of Pari Shrivastav in the sequel. Ananya is romancing Ayushmann Khurrana. The trailer and songs already gave us a glimpse of their chemistry. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the sequel also stars Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, and Abhishek Bannerjee. It is slated to release on 25^th August, 2023.

Apart from this, Ananya also has Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and a web series titled Call Me Bae. Talking about Kartik, he will be seen Chandu Champion, Aashiqui 3, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

On the other hand, Bhumi will be seen in The Lady Killer with Arjun Kapoor. She also has an untitled film with Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. She will also be seen in Thank You For Coming.
