Is Deepika Padukone miffed with Katrina Kaif for making her Instagram debut?

It’s been a few days that actress Katrina Kaif has joined Instagram. The actress was welcomed by her co-stars Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and a few more. Actor Ranveer Singh welcomed her on Instagram in the most quirky way possible. But, it seems that Katrina’s debut on Instagram has somewhere not gone down well with another popular actress from B-Town. And it’s none other than Bollywood’s Mastani, Deepika Padukone.

Sources say that the ‘Piku’ actress is miffed with Katrina Kaif. The reason behind it is that Deepika apparently feels that Katrina stole her thunder. As many would know, the title track of ‘Raabta’ featuring Deepika Padukone recently made it to the internet. The song has all the elements to make it a hit. Perfect music teamed with the gorgeous and sexy avatar of Deepika Padukone, ‘Raabta’ title track can catch your attention instantly. But unfortunately that was not the case. A little birdie tells us that this song did not garner much attention because Katrina Kaif made her Instagram debut on the same day the song was released. Hence, the divided attention of the audience.

A source close to Deepika’s gang of friends has quoted to Pinkvilla, “Deepika’s team is a little disappointed that Katrina stole their ‘Raabta’ thunder with her Instagram debut. The thing is, they could not make any last minute changes to the song release date. However, this incident certainly dampened the spirit of the ‘Raabta’ team including Deepika.” [sic]

Well, we wonder if these reports are true.

Talking about films, Katrina Kaif will next be seen in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ along with Ranbir Kapoor. While, Deepika Padukone is busy shooting for her next film ‘Padmavati’ along with Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
